As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, we offer young people troubled by exposure to the criminal justice system and residing within the Lower Hudson Valley a positive path forward. We do this by Exposure to community resources; Education via an extensive skills development program; and Empowerment through one-on-one mentorship by credible messengers sharing insight gained from their own incarceration.
We envision a society where leaders build other leaders. where disadvantaged communities receive institutional support; where justice is restorative; where exposure to programs for job readiness, life skills and financial literacy remove barriers to good jobs and affordable housing; where experienced mentors help transform the toxic effects of living in underserved communities into power for securing positive futures.
Our passion is our purpose. We are committed to transforming lives of the justice impacted individuals living in the lower Hudson Valley. Our programs offer the tools to help transition negative behavior learned on the streets into new values, goals and action plans, through:: One-on-one mentoring with formerly incarcerated individuals as credible messengers; Interactive seminar-based programs on how to get a job, financial literacy and confidence building; Workforce readiness through internships in a variety of professions.
